Meet your 2019-2020 Peer Counseling Staff:
Emma Caponetto (12)
I joined PALS so I could work to make LCC a better place for people of all different backgrounds. This is my second year as a peer counselor, and I can't wait to continue spreading positivity on campus. A fun fact about me is that I work on a farm! |
Isabel Barton (12)
I am returning to be a part of PALS to continue working hard to make our school more welcoming. I want to be the shoulder you can cry on or someone to confide in. A fun fact about me is that I love the beach and am captain of the Girl's Golf team. I am very passionate about the PALS program and would highly recommend it. |
Nicole Dixson (12)
Last year, I joined PALS because I wanted to be able to improve our school and student life. This year, I hope to make our campus more inclusive and ensure that no student feels alone. In my free time, I love to bake and play rugby. I'm the co-president of the Rugby Club, so if you are curious about joining the team feel free to reach out! Say hi if you see me around campus! |
Vanessa Ahmed (12)
I joined PALS my junior year because I wanted to help make LCC more of a community. My freshman year, I didn't feel like I was a part of the Maverick Family. I felt lost. However, after I attended CommUnity Day my sophomore year, I realized many felt the way I had, and I made it my mission to make sure every Mav felt heard, as well as loved and needed. |
